Team Purpose:

The Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team develops the strategy for and leads on all external facing communications activities using media, publications, events and digital channels. It manages key stakeholder relations and advocacy and provides advice to the rest of the organisation on communications strategies and internal communications for major investments and policy changes. It is responsible for EPSRC’s reputation and brand management.

Job Purpose:

We have two Communication Officer roles available, one covering Business and Academia and the other covering Government and Parliament. The Communications Officer provides support across the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team, working closely with the relevant audience lead (Business, Academia, Public, Government and Parliament) to deliver effective and efficient communications activities specific to these audiences. The role includes a mix of generic support activities and specific audience activities, working closely with the other Communications Officers together to support each other as well as the wider team.
